Grill up something healthy with W.D. Bryant!

Stuck at home? Try this easy grilled chicken recipe on your Weber or other gas grills!

Looking for quick and easy recipes while quarantined at home? Here is a simple and easy grilled chicken recipe that you're sure to love. With a blend of oils, spices, and herbs this chicken is packed with flavor. The and the best part? It only has to marinate for 30 minutes! This is a great recipe to grill up on a Weber grill! If you don't have a Weber or gas grill, feel free to use a seasoned stovetop pan.

This chicken is so good and you can eat it with just about anything. Before I go into the ways I like to devour this chicken, though, I want to mention that you’re probably going to want to go ahead and double this recipe right off the bat. If you can’t eat it all within a few days, you can always freeze it.

  • Eat this chicken with a side of just about any veggie or grain/carb combo and your dinner is set!

  • Cut up a breast into strips or cubes and add it as a healthy protein to your favorite salad for a quick, packable lunch.

  • Quesadillas! Dice or slice your chicken any which way and sandwich it between two tortillas. Add cheese, jalapenos, pickled onions, cilantro, black olives, or any ingredients your heart desires. Cook up on both sides until the tortilla gets a little brown and crispy and cut with a pizza cutter.

  • Tacos! The same goes for tacos as for quesadillas (or burritos or whatever kind of Mexican tortilla-chicken combo you want). Grab a tortilla and start stacking in that chicken and your favorite toppings.

  • Layer the chicken (cut or shredded) to the top of a store-bought pizza crust. Make an Italian chicken pizza with some fresh sauce, buffalo mozzarella, and basil.

  • Take the ingredients for a pizza and instead make a Caprese sandwich. A hoagie roll or other crusty roll will do. Slice it in half and layer in all the yummy goodness. Try this with any sandwich combo you’d enjoy.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts. Feel free to sub chicken thighs

  • 1/4 cup olive oil

  • 4 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar or honey

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic

  • 1 teaspoon Italian blend herbs

  • pinch of red pepper flakes optional

  • Stir together oil, vinegar, sugar, soy sauce, garlic, dried herbs, and red pepper flakes.

  • Pour into a large Ziploc bag along with the chicken, press the excess air out of the bag, seal, and chill for 30 minutes.

  • Use tongs to transfer the chicken to a preheated Weber grill. Cook chicken for 6-10 minutes on each side (depending on thickness) over medium heat until cooked through ( juices should run clear when you cut into the thickest part of the chicken). Serve immediately.
