If you're interested in showing off your cooking skills or your favorite recipe for the community, we'd love to have you as a cook! There is no admission fee and no special requirements or prerequisites - if you want to cook at the event, you're welcome to do so, simple as that!

You can bring any number of co-chefs to work as a cook team, or you can cook solo if that is your preference.

In terms of food, we aim to partner with a sponsor to supply some of the food to cook. Alternatively, if you want to bring your own food, you can keep your receipts and we will provide you a form to write that food off as a charitable donation (the event is sponsoring Children's Miracle Network, after all).

W.D. Bryant will be supplying you a Large or Xtra Large Big Green Egg, charcoal, serving supplies, and a tent. You will need to bring your own seasoning, cooking utensils, and prep surfaces. If you need them, you also should bring your own coolers and chafing dish or other heating option.

Cooks will receive bottled water and a goodie bag. We will also have prizes based on attendee voting and other factors, to be announced later.

The event starts at 8 am. If you want to cook breakfast food, you can certainly start serving whenever you're ready! Otherwise, the aim is for most cooks to begin serving around 11 am. The event runs until 5:30 pm. Please plan to be able to serve samples of food consistently from around 11 am until around 4:00 pm. Awards will be handed out around 5 pm.
